Dangerzone is a club Ultimate Frisbee team at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. We compete in the Colonial Conference and the Atlantic Coast section of the USA Ultimate College Division 1. 

We accept all players regardless of Ultimate experience or athletic ability. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!  We have a limited number of space on our competitive tournament rosters, but everyone is welcome at practices.

We understand that not everyone wants the same Ultimate Frisbee experience, and so people will be able to commit to the team in different ways. That being said, we expect players selected for our A team will be committed to the team which includes attendance at practice, cooperation with coaches/captains during drills and listening to instructions, and a good spirit.  We understand that academics comes first and players are not always able to attend every practice, but ask that they email the coaches with a valid excuse and make sure to catch up on what they missed at the next practice.

The most important equipment for ultimate is a pair of good cleats.  Other than that, we expect players to bring water and a light/dark shirt for scrimmages.

The team practices whenever JHU is in session.  Players can join at any time but new players are encouraged to start during the fall to learn most of the basics.  Fall season practices usually begin during the first week of classes, and the rest of the fall is considered our extended tryout period.  We participate in fall tournaments but they are generally more relaxed. Spring season starts as soon as we come back to school for spring semester.  Spring is the team's primary season, and has the majority of our competitive tournaments.

Each spring season we play in 5-6 tournaments including the college series.  See Schedule.
